What is CBD?
Short for Cannabidiol, CBD is one of the many cannabinoid compounds found in cannabis. CBD is non-psychoactive, which means that it does not have an effect on cognitive brain function- basically you don’t get high. What is THC?
Short for Tetrahydrocannabinol, THC is what causes most of marijuana’s psychological effects. Much like CBD, THC attached to cannabinoid receptors in the brain to release dopamine, creating a euphoric effect.
What is an Indica Strain?
An Indica strain tends to be more physically sedating, providing a very relaxed feeling throughout the body, and an overall mellow feeling. These strains are generally great for stress, pain relief, and sleeping disorders.
What is a Sativa Strain?
Sativa strains are known for a more uplifting cerebral effect, with a much more energetic high. These strains are great for treating depression, anxiety and stress. They are popularly known for stimulating creativity as well.
